Man shot dead by police in regional Victoria after seven-hour stand off

A man has been shot dead by police following a seven- hour standoff in Victoria’s central Goldfields. The officers' attempts to negotiate with the man holed-up in a neighbour's shed were unsuccessful sparking the hours-long siege.
