Premier Jeremy Rockliff is set to ask the Governor to re-commission him for another term tomorrow following last month's state election. But Labor has condemned the Premier's plan to govern without supply and confidence agreements with the crossbench, announcing it will step up talks with independents but not the Greens in a bid to seize power. The impasse could take some time to resolve with Mr Rockliff likely to face a no-confidence motion in parliament before Tasmanians know for certain who will lead the state in the long-term.
