A 56-year-old unemployed man pleaded not guilty in the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court on Wednesday (Aug 6) to charges of attempted murder and unlawful possession of a knife.
On the first count, Yap Thye Sun was accused of attempting to murder Corporal Mohd Nazri Sudiman by stabbing him in the abdomen, causing a 'penetrating abdominal wound with evisceration', an injury that could have led to the victim's death.
