Malacanang lauds continued decline in inflation rite
Malacañang welcomes the continued decline in the country’s inflation rate, calling the development as 'magic' considering the global economic uncertainties. Speaking to reporters here, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said it was a direct result of government efforts to stabilize food prices and protect consumers from many challenges globally. Castro said the easing of inflation was primarily attributed to the drop in the prices of rice and other basic food items, which Marcos himself prioritized through interventions such as price monitoring and increased local supply.
