A golden retriever helped film a romantic beach proposal, capturing the moment his human parents got engaged at sunset.
Murphy the dog wore a camera on his back as Jacob Oxlade, 27, proposed to Emily Ward, 26, his childhood sweetheart of 12 years, on Peel Island, Australia.
The magical moment unfolded after paramedic and nurse Emily finished work and Jacob insisted on a spontaneous boat trip to the Island at sunset.
The couple from Thornlands, Australia, described the scene as “chaotic, hilarious, and perfect.”
Emily said: “After a full nursing shift, the last thing I expected was a proposal especially in my Kmart trackie pants.
“But Jacob, my high school sweetheart of 12 years, insisted we take the boat out ‘just for a quick spin.
“ I didn’t think much of it, until our golden retriever Murphy showed up with a Camera360 strapped to his back.
“We pulled up to Peel Island right as the sun was setting.
“ Jacob got down on one knee, and just like that, I was engaged, still salty from work, and slightly confused about whether the dog was the videographer.
“ It was chaotic, hilarious, and absolutely perfect."
The viral video had viewers in awe praising the camera skills of the fluffy friend, even Specsavers chimed in.
Specsavers said: “Does he take corporate clients?”
Another joked: “He said ‘excuse me, let me come closer to capture this.’ He was so excited for you."
A third wrote: “ Your cameraman is amazing, truly the coolest way to capture this moment. Definitely make sure he captures wedding footage.”
