Marcos open to calls for constitutional amendments, says Palace
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is open to calls to amend certain provisions of the 38-year-old Constitution, if it seeks to correct constitutional ambiguities, Malacañang says on Aug. 12, 2025. ConCon is one three methods provided under the Constitution itself to introduce amendments, the two being through a constituent assembly and people’s initiative.
