Today's contestants are Barry & Amy Vendibach from Leicestershire, Reg & Sharon Crane from Derbyshire & Yorkshire, Gill & Matthew Rudd from Devon, and Margaret & Stuart Kirkham from Cheshire. Bruce Forsyth comperes as usual with Rosemary Ford offering assistance, and they have a lively bunch of contestants here. Indeed, when Brucie complains when the teams kiss each other off after one team has to depart that he never receives anything one of them actually pinches his bum! The games are a little mixed, but include "Royal Marine PT", "Pottering About" (plate painting), "Noises and Voices" (impersonations with Dodwell Flax) and "Those Were The Days", a favourite of mine where they compare prices of years ago to now (which in this case is 1994) and where Geoff Hurst of all people makes a guest appearance. It's a sobering thought that he is the only remaining player of the victorious 1966 World Cup squad still going. The finale sees the teams face off in a spot of Greek Dancing that is so close it goes to a nail biting tiebreaker. But who will go through to try their luck on the conveyor belt of prizes?
