Project Motor Racing heads to Gamescom with Porsche, revelations, and a trailer. Project Motor Racing is stepping on the gas at Gamescom, taking center stage with the real Le Mans-winning Audi R8 and a series of major revelations.
Publisher GIANTS Software and developer Straight4 Studios are shifting into high gear, confirming Porsche and Ford and revealing more top vehicles, legendary classes, and iconic tracks.
Porsche is officially joining the racing fleet, bringing with it a model range that spans decades of motorsport history. These include icons such as the championship-winning Porsche 963 (2023) and the origin of a dynasty, the 1970 917K, as well as a number of legendary models, including: 911 GT3 R (992), 911 GT1-98, and 962C.
Also new on board are Aston Martin (the 2025 Aston Martin Valkyrie Hypercar and the AMR Vantage GT3) and the Ford Mustang GT4 (2024).
Two of the most glorious eras of sports car racing – GT1 and Group C – are now also confirmed for Project Motor Racing, complementing the previously announced racing classes. GT1 stands for the raw, high-risk spectacle of 1990s supercars, while Group C brings back the golden era of prototype endurance racing.
A total of nine racing classes have now been unveiled, covering half a century of motorsport – with more to follow.
Project Motor Racing is expanding its lineup of race tracks with three more scanned legends: Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, the Nürburgring Nordschleife, and Mount Panorama, Bathurst, while also confirming the launch with 28 layouts at 18 locations worldwide.
With “True2Track,” Project Motor Racing also introduces a technology developed from the ground up for uncompromising realism: from dynamic weather systems and adaptive racing lines with authentic drying and water runoff behavior to a synchronized 24-hour day-night cycle that reflects real-world conditions.
Visitors to Hall 6 at gamescom are invited to test drive Project Motor Racing; a new gameplay trailer also offers a glimpse of what's to come before the release.
Project Motor Racing will be released on November 25 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game will be available in retail stores at the same time as the digital release. astragon Entertainment will handle distribution in Germany. Pre-orders are now available from selected partners, including the bonus content GTE Decade Pack.
