Central Visayas no 'ghost' infrastructure projects, says regional director
Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Central Visayas Director Danilo J. Villa clarifies that the region has no so-called 'ghost projects,' amid public criticism hounding the agency. Villa said on Aug. 20, 2025, that based on their records, all infrastructure projects in Central Visayas are properly accounted for. The assurance came as the DPWH faced backlash after President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. personally inspected an alleged ghost project in Baliwag, Bulacan.
