The US Air Force has achieved a major milestone in the Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) program, which aims to develop unmanned fighters designed to fly alongside fifth and sixth-generation aircraft.
Less than two years after the initiativeâs launch, one of the prototypes, designated YFQ-42A and built in partnership with General Atomics, completed its first flight at a California test facility.
đ Testing took place in California, with additional evaluations planned at Edwards and Nellis AFB.
