Bristol’s first-ever Krazy Races Soapbox Derby will be taking place next week (September 7) at Windmill Hill in Victoria Park from 9am, with over 40 local teams.
Teams will compete for various titles, including Best Dressed and Most Creative Kart Design, and will race to the finish in gravity-powered soapboxes fuelled by courage, inspiration and a dash of luck!
Ahead of the derby, all 40 teams brought their carts to the official scrutineering day at Ashton Gate Stadium, where every soapbox undergo safety checks - including those all-important brakes - while also offering the first sneak peek at the weird, wonderful, and wildly creative designs that will hit the track in September.
