QUIRKY WAYS TO GO THROUGH A MCDONALDS DRIVE THROUGH
WITH PIX AND VID
By Shuk Yee Tsang
A group of friends have been pushing the limits of the McDonald's drive-through by turning up in everything from kayaks to toy cars.
Content creators Sam Patterson, 24, Sam Young, 25, Aussie Edwards, 25, and Alex Triplow, 25, all from Australia, filmed themselves testing out unusual “vehicles” at McDonald’s drive-throughs, with hilarious results.
Among their attempts was: A kayak, a children’s toy push car, a pink Barbie electric car, Indonesian boat, racing boat, a unicycle, and even a race car bed.
Some stunts ended in success with staff happily serving soft-serve ice creams and fries while others ended in rejection, forcing the group to head inside to complete their orders.
In one clip, fries were carefully stored in the compartment of a Barbie car once they compleated their successful drive through quest.
The videos sparked amusement both online and in person, with staff laughing at the antics and commenters sharing their own memories of quirky drive-through encounters.
One wrote: “I was legit there and wondering what you guys were up to.”
Another said: “When my town flooded, someone went through the drive through on a kayak, the water levels were that deep.”
