This is the hilarious moment a father of the bride needed rescuing after coming down a resort waterslide the morning after his daughter’s wedding.
Jackie Depeppo, a hairstylist from Staten Island, New York, filmed her 70-year-old father Val as he splashed into the shallow waterslide pool at Crystal Springs.
To everyone’s shock, he struggled to stay afloat in the 2ft deep pool and had to be pulled to safety by a lifeguard, who jumped straight into the water in full hoodie.
The clip was shared on Tiktok and gathered over 7 million views.
Jackie said: “He gave the lifeguard money to buy lunch after.”
One user commented: “Drowning in inch deep water isn’t easy.”
