The Ukrainian special unit "Ghosts" carried out a drone strike against the Russian airbase of Hvardiyske, near Simferopol, in occupied Crimea.
📌 Two Mi-8 helicopters were destroyed, along with a Russian tugboat of the BUK-2190 project.
📌 Satellite images confirmed the destruction and revealed a large-scale fire.
📌 The attack took place on August 30 and was preceded by the neutralization of S-400 radar systems, paving the way for the use of long-range drones.
This is yet another episode in Ukraine’s campaign to weaken Russian military infrastructure on the occupied peninsula.
