Activists aboard dozens of boats, including Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg and Irish actor Liam Cunningham, set sail from Barcelona on Aug 31 as part of the Global Sumud Flotilla aimed at breaking Israel's blockade of aid into Gaza at sea.
No humanitarian flotilla had been allowed into Gaza so far this year as they were seized and brought back to Israeli shores.
