During his Passport days, to drummer Curt Cress was given an opportunity to record an album, and "CCC "was the result. Cress was backed by Passport keyboard player Schultze, Dave King, Volker Kriegel and Ack van Rooney for this sole album. Those were the days when many leading artists of the jazz-rock scene started to stray into funk, soul, brass-pop territory. In fact, the album is a jazz-rock fusion effort, with funk influenced flavors all around.
