Anti-Corruption Watch launched in Cebu
A group of private citizens launches the Cebu Citizen Anti-Corruption Watch on Sept. 5, 2025, to scrutinize flood control projects of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in Cebu. Convenor Jun Abines said the movement would enlist engineers, accountants, and lawyers to check project quality, review finances, and file cases against those involved in irregularities. He will also ask National Bureau of Investigation to protect volunteers from possible harassment.
