✈️ A landmark moment for Russian aviation!
The first Superjet-100 built in series, fitted with PD-8 engines and numerous domestic systems replacing imported components, has successfully carried out its maiden flight in Komsomolsk-on-Amur.
The aircraft is manufactured by UAC, in cooperation with UEC and Rostec, representing a milestone in Russia’s strategy of import substitution within the aviation sector.
📌 At present, 24 aircraft are in various stages of production.
