Having God in your boat” is a picture of letting Jesus into your life and trusting Him fully. In the Gospels, we see that even when storms rose against the disciples’ boat, they were safe because Jesus was with them. His presence didn’t stop the storm from coming, but it gave them peace and protection because He had power over it. In the same way, life’s storms—troubles, fears, and struggles—may still come our way, but with God by our side, none of them can truly sink us. His strength is greater than any storm we face.
In our personal lives, this means that faith in God gives us stability and courage when we go through difficulties such as financial problems, family issues, or emotional pain. Inviting God into our “boat” doesn’t mean we will never face hardships, but it means that He will carry us through them safely. When we walk in faith, we are never alone; God’s presence provides comfort and assurance that no matter how rough the waters get, He will keep us steady and bring us through to calmer seas.
