Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has stressed that Malaysia’s digital transformation and ambitions in artificial intelligence (AI) must be anchored in strong moral values and a deep appreciation of history.
Launching the National Historians Council on Monday (Sept 8), Anwar said high-tech progress will only be meaningful and sustainable if it remains grounded in ethics and cultural roots.
He added that one of the nation’s greatest challenges is to build a unifying national narrative while strengthening historical awareness and literacy among youth and society at large.
