In 2003, a German expedition, led by Jorg Fassbender, made an incredible discovery. The archaeological team reportedly unearthed an ancient tomb in the deserts of Iraq believed to belong to one of these gigantic beings of antiquity. Far from an ordinary find, they had stumbled upon something monumental – a burial site with immense skeletal remains that were subsequently sent for further examination and carbon dating.
