HUMPBACK WHALE DRAMATICALLY BREACHES FROM THE OCEAN

A breathtaking moment was captured off the coast of Kiama, New South Wales, when a humpback whale breached dramatically just offshore.
The clip, filmed by veterinary surgeon Ashley Sykes from Australia, using a drone, shows the massive whale erupting from the water against an overcast, windy backdrop.
The sight marked Ashley’s first southbound breach of the 2025 season and brought plenty of excitement and luck to the day.
The stunning footage highlights the beauty of whale migration along Australia’s east coast and left viewers mesmerised by the power and grace of the ocean giant.
