Farrukhabad – A massive fraud has been unearthed in the Health Department. Arpit Singh, using the same identity, managed to secure government jobs in six different districts and drew a total salary of ₹4.5 crore over nine years.
Investigations revealed that in 2016, Singh was appointed simultaneously in six districts through the Subordinate Services Selection Commission. The CBI probe has exposed how corruption had deeply infected the recruitment system. According to findings, slips were distributed in exchange for bribes, with political influence playing a key role.
Shockingly, one individual was officially employed in multiple districts at the same time.
