Watch as two rosy-collared parrots were caught in a hilarious moment as they tried to chew through a stem together, only for one of them to take a tumble.
The playful clip was captured by Yiyi Wei from Beijing, China, showing the pair perched on the edge of a branch, pecking away with determination.
But when the stem suddenly gives way, one bird loses its balance and drops, leaving the other still clinging on above.
The video was shared online and the adorable mishap had viewers laughing at the birds’ teamwork gone wrong.
One commentor said: ‘Why is he contributing to his own downfall as well.’
Another joked: ‘Brutal tactic to gain only heir status.’
