Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir on Thursday (Sept 11) announced that the ministry endorsed that Taylor's University be conferred Self-Accreditation Status by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
Dr Zambry said this when opening the university's 16th International Teaching & Learning Conference.
With this recognition, the university is empowered to accredit its own academic programmes, a responsibility entrusted to only 20 institutions in the country.
