I’ve been using the G1 Smart Cat Litter Box with APP for about a month now, and I wanted to share my honest review, including my top pros & cons and why we chose this one over the rest.
Setup & First Impressions: Setting it up literally took minutes—super quick and super easy. I have three cats, and they all adjusted to it within a day or so. The self-cleaning function is a game-changer because I really dislike scooping litter. Now, I only need to change the bag once a week or so, which saves so much time and hassle.
Tips & Small Quirks: Occasionally, the app might say the box is full, but usually, you just need to rearrange the litter or bag below, as it can sometimes stick up and trigger a false full alert. Some litter may get stuck here and there, which can also make the app think a cat is inside. These are easy fixes and totally manageable.
No Smell: One of the best features for me is that there is no odor at all. With regular litter boxes, I used to deal with strong smells after a few days, but this completely eliminates that problem, keeping my space fresh.
Size & Space Considerations: The size is perfect. I have a dedicated room for my cats, so it’s no issue for me, but even my sister put hers in her guest bathroom, and her cats have no problem getting in and out.
