‘Grace for the World’ lights up St. Peter’s with music and drones
St. Peter’s Square turned into a stage of music and light on Saturday night, September 13, as Pharrell Williams and Andrea Bocelli co-directed “Grace for the World,” a free mega-concert marking the Vatican’s Jubilee 2025 and the World Meeting on Human Fraternity.
Global stars including John Legend, Karol G, Angélique Kidjo, Clipse and Teddy Swims joined Bocelli and Williams, backed by the Voices of Fire gospel choir and the Diocese of Rome Choir, under the musical direction of Grammy-winner Adam Blackstone.
The night climaxed with a stunning drone show, produced by Nova Sky Stories, where more than 3,000 drones painted Sistine Chapel-inspired images above Rome, fusing sacred art with cutting-edge technology.
