PAS has pledged that, if entrusted with the responsibility to lead the nation, it will uphold the Federal Constitution while safeguarding the rights and interests of non-Muslims.
Party president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang said in his presidential policy speech at the central 71st PAS Muktamar in Alor Setar on Monday (Sept 15) that in line with Islamic principles, the party would unite a plural society in harmony and security.
