Local businesses in the Henderson industrial area are confident they'll find the skilled workers to support the Commonwealth's multibillion-dollar upgrade to the defence shipbuilding and maintenance precinct. The Prime minister has promised it will deliver 10,000 jobs over 20 years, but it's also likely to bring workforce challenges and put more pressure on housing and infrastructure.
