Microsoft Boosts Dividend To 91 Cents A Share, As Tech Giant Extends OpenAI Partnership

Microsoft announced Monday that it will raise its quarterly dividend to 91 cents per share, up from 83 cents last September, according to The Wall Street Journal. The new dividend, equal to $3.64 annually, represents a yield of 0.7% based on Monday’s closing price of $515.36. The payout is payable on December 11th to shareholders of record on November 20. Microsoft also scheduled its annual shareholder meeting for December 5th. The company recently extended its partnership with OpenAI, with its Copilot chatbot competing against ChatGPT and Alphabet’s Gemini.
