Sydney trains are defending their safety record. After the figures showed there's been a 25 per cent increase in the number of trains failing to stop at red lights. It says only a tiny fraction would have placed passengers in danger. And it's emphasising the back-to-basic approach it takes to ensure drivers learn from experience.
