Sabah Electricity chief executive officer Datuk Mohd Yaakob Jaafar broke down in tears as he announced the full restoration of power to Sabah’s east coast on Wednesday (Sept 17) night, just four days after a massive landslide crippled the grid.
Yaakob appealed for public understanding and ended his briefing with a prayer for a missing colleague feared drowned during flood operations.
