Street Dogs : దేశవ్యాప్తంగా వీధి కుక్క కాటు ఘటనలు అంతకంతకూ పెరిగిపోతున్నాయి. ఉత్తర్ ప్రదేశ్ లోని యోగీ ఆదిత్యనాథ్ ప్రభుత్వం వీధి కుక్క కాటు ఘటనలపై తీవ్రంగా స్పందిస్తోంది. వీధి కుక్కల నియంత్రణపై రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాలు మానవతా కోణంలో నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకోవాలని సుప్రీంకోర్టు ఆదేశించిన నేపథ్యంలో యూపీ సర్కార్ తాజాగా ఓ కొత్త విధానం అమల్లోకి తెచ్చింది. దీని ప్రకారం వీధి కుక్కలు రెండుసార్లు మనుషుల్ని కరిచాయని నిర్ధారణ అయితే వాటికి జీవిత ఖైదు విధించాలని నిర్ణయించారు.

If a stray dog bites a human once without provocation, it will be kept in a shelter for 10 days. After treatment, sterilisation, and microchipping, it may be released.
