Apple's new iPhone 17 draws crowd at unveiling in Beijing
Hundreds of people queued up at Apple’s flagship store in Beijing on Sept. 19, 2025 on the launch day of the iPhone 17, indicating a rosy outlook for the US smartphone seller. About 300 people were queuing outside Apple Store in Beijing's eastern commercial Sanlitun at 9 a.m (0100 GMT), with most arriving early to collect their new phones ordered online previously. Customers showed a great deal of interest towards the Pro Max model, priced from 9,999 yuan ($1,405.58) and anticipated by analysts to become the best selling-model in the 17 series.
