Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said savings from the government’s targeted subsidy initiative will be reallocated to benefit the people, with priority given to education, healthcare, and basic infrastructure upgrades.
Speaking at the Prime Minister’s Department monthly assembly on Monday (Sept 22), he said that measures such as targeting diesel subsidies had allowed the government to roll out the Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (Sara) Appreciation Aid, which provides RM100 to eligible Malaysians.
