For the first time since the US imposed a 50% tariff on Indian goods over its Russian oil purchases, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar is set to meet US Secretary of State Marco Rubio at 11 am (8:30 pm IST) on Monday in New York. This marks their third in-person meeting this year, following Jaishankar’s visit to Washington in January for the Quad Foreign Ministers’ meeting shortly after Rubio took office.
