On September 22, the Russian Ministry of Defense released a video showing the Northern Fleet’s nuclear-powered missile submarine cruiser Arkhanguelsk successfully carrying out the launch of an anti-ship cruise missile in the Barents Sea.
According to the official statement, the drill was part of planned combat training activities. The P-800 Oniks missile was launched from a submerged position at a naval target simulating an enemy ship. The target, located about 200 kilometres away, was struck directly.
