Macca the Kelpie has been on quite the journey. The spirited was surrendered to the Domestic Animal Services shelter in Canberra and then hand-selected by the Australian Army to train as an explosives detection dog. Here he is doing his drills in Darwin with handler Sapper Dean Purcell
