This London worker has revealed her quirky solution to her costly transport to work; she now lives in a pod when she comes into the city for work.
Anastasia Lukman, who travels into London three days a week, revealed she rents out a permanent pod spot and swears it’s far easier than battling with daily trains.
She said: “I don’t live in London, so whenever I’ve got two days in a row at work, I just stay here.
"I do my makeup, pack up my things and honestly, it’s cheaper than going back and forth on the train.”
Anastasia said a night in the pod sets her back just £25, compared to almost £50 for a single train ticket.
Not only that, but her journey to the office drops from two hours down to a breezy 20 minutes.
For anyone wondering about luggage, Anastasia says people simply keep their bags outside the pod, but valuables stay safely tucked inside the pod.
Then it’s off to the office, fresh-faced, organised and without the hassle of a long, draining commute.
Although her way of living may be seen as cramped and unique, she is adamant that it's the best way for her to work in the big city.
She said: "I have work in London three days a week, I decided to just live in this pod.
"This way is actually cheaper than me having to go back and forth with train because train here is so expensive.
"So, train ticket for me I need to spend almost £50 when one night here is just £25.
"People just store luggage here outside the pod. Just remember to keep your valuables inside your park and off we go to the office."
