A paddleboarder had a close and hilarious encounter when a curious seal swam up and began nudging her board.
Tara Hughes, 46, from Washington, USA captured the sweet moment as she chatted to the animal in baby talk, calling it a “cutey patootie” while it swam circles around her.
Tara, a marketing professional, filmed the moment alongside a curious seal. As Tara calls out silly greetings, the seal is nudging her board and joining in the fun.
The encounter left Tara laughing in disbelief, as the friendly sea puppy seemed determined to interact before finally swimming away.
Tara posted the funny clip online, where fans loved the playful vibes and close encounter with an ocean puppy.
