The 300-litre monthly quota under the Budi Madani RON95 (Budi95) fuel subsidy programme has been renewed as scheduled on Wednesday (Oct 1), Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil confirmed.
Speaking after the Cabinet meeting, Fahmi said the renewal is in line with the programme’s schedule, which refreshes recipients’ quotas on the first day of every month.
He added that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has directed the Transport Ministry to expedite discussions on several matters related to Budi95, including a possible
increase in fuel quotas for e-hailing, p-hailing, taxi, and fishing boat operators.
