Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has urged authorities to take firm action against corrupt individuals, regardless of their past contributions to the nation.
Speaking at the launch of the Keep Malaysia Clean (KMC) programme in conjunction with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission’s (MACC) 58th anniversary on Wednesday (Oct 1), Anwar praised the commission’s boldness in pursuing “big fish” and reiterated his full support for it to act without fear or favour.
