Britain’s new Torvill and Dean know what they want, what they really, really want.
Forget the Bolero.
Hotly tipped ice duo Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson will dance to a Spice Girls medley in a bid to follow in the skate tracks of their idols when they go for gold at the Olympics in February, writes Graham Walker.
They will fly the flag for Team GB with Lilah in a sparkly Union Jack dress, in a patriotic homage to Ginger Spice's iconic outfit.
And like Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean they are building their dreams on Sheffield steel - skating on John Wilson Blades, made at the city's world famous factory in Rutland Way, they revealed in our exclusive chat.
They also promised Sheffield fans will get to preview their perfected Olympic routines when they compete in the six day ISU European Figure Skating Championships, at Utilita Arena Sheffield, from January 13-18.
That's just days before millions on TV around the globe will see them go for glory at the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympic Winter Games
