The United States Embassy has assured that Malaysians detained by Israel following the interception of the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) will be returned safely.
The assurance came after embassy representatives received a memorandum of protest during a solidarity rally on Friday (Oct 3).
Political secretary to the Prime Minister, Muhammad Kamil Abdul Munim, said the embassy representatives also pledged to convey the contents of the memorandum to Washington.
