Hamas said on Oct 3 that it will agree to the peace plan in Gaza brokered by the United States, but added that the group will not disarm before the Israeli "occupation" ends.
This was welcomed by the Arab nations, including Qatar and Egypt as well as the United Nations while US President Donald Trump said they are "very close" to to ending the Israel-Hamas war and achieving peace in the Middle East.
