eum Bok, an innocent dreamer from the countryside, moves to Seoul with hopes of becoming an actor. Instead, he’s tricked—and unexpectedly kissed—by Bi Hyeong, the goblin king. Unlike others, Geum Bok alone can safely transfer energy to Bi Hyeong, leading the mischievous goblin to keep him close under the watchful eye of his loyal protector, Gil Dal. Thus begins an unusual three-man cohabitation where Geum Bok becomes Bi Hyeong’s “spirit lunchbox,” while Bi Hyeong serves as Geum Bok’s shield against malicious ghosts.
Things take another turn when Geum Bok visits a plastic surgery clinic and meets Dr. Ji Gwi, a gumiho, or nine-tailed fox. Ji Gwi follows him home intending to seduce him, only to encounter his lost love, Gil Dal, after centuries apart. As jealousies and misunderstandings multiply, Geum Bok’s bond with Bi Hyeong places him in grave danger, drawing the wrath of vengeful spirits.
