The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) has announced the delivery of the fifth batch of Su-34 fighter-bombers to the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS), marking a further milestone in the nation’s efforts to renew and modernise its air fleet.
According to the company’s official statement on Telegram, the handover took place at the Novosibirsk Aviation Plant and comprised two aircraft. The event was accompanied by photo and video materials released by the corporation.
UAC noted that another batch of Su-34s is expected to be delivered by the end of 2025, increasing the total number of aircraft transferred this year to eleven.
