PAGASA said Monday, Oct. 6, that the northeasterly wind flow is currently prevailing over parts of the country, which brings slightly cooler air and serves as an early signal that the country is moving toward the transition period from the southwest monsoon (habagat) to the northeast monsoon (amihan).
