The moment was captured at the Tayvallich Inn in Scotland, UK, during Storm Amy, which caused a power outage that closed the bar and restaurant for the day
Thorkil Osborn, a staff member and graduate environmental scientist, had arrived at work in his waders due to flooding in the village
Undeterred by the waves lapping around him, he chose to enjoy a Guinness in the beer garden.
The video quickly went viral, reaching over a million views, as viewers praised his relaxed approach amid the chaos.
Kathryn Masson, the owner of the restaurant, said: " Our power went out, meaning that we had to close our bar and restaurant.
"Thorkil had arrived at work in his waders due to flooding in the village.
"When we had to close, he decided to enjoy a pint of Guinness in our beer garden."
