The San Diego Humane Society's Humane Law Enforcement conducted a four-day rescue at an abandoned apartment, the shelter shared in a press release. The dedicated effort resulted in the successful retrieval of 11 dogs and two cats. The pets were living in "hoarding-like" conditions, according to the San Diego Humane Society (SDHS).
